What languages does the translator support?
Our own translator support translations between English and Finnish. In addition, you can purchase a Language Pack special feature which provides translations for over 60 additional languages.

Does the translator recognize special field terms?
The English-to-Finnish translator recognizes about 200,000 English words and idioms including IT, Engineering and Business terms. However, the translator may not always recognize or give an accurate translation for a special field term. If you have a Business, Workstation or Pro license, you can add your own special lexicons to the translator.

How can I improve translation quality?
To get the best translation result, the source text should be carefully written standard language. It is also important that punctuation marks and upper-case letters are used correctly. Spelling errors in the source text may reduce the translation quality significantly.

Why I cannot translate from Finnish into English?
You have probably purchased only the English-to-Finnish language pair to the translator. Please check your order.

Why I cannot see the Sunda Doc toolbar in MS Word?
Please check the following things:
- If you are using MS Word 2007 or later, the Sunda Doc toolbar appears after choosing the Add-Ins tab.
- If you are using MS Word 2003 or earlier, choose View->Toolbar from the top menu and make sure that Sunda Doc appears in the list and is checked.
- Restart your computer after the installation.
- If you have a 64-bit version of MS Office, you need to install the 64-bit version of Sunda Doc. Note! If you have a 64-bit version of Windows but a 32-bit version of MS Office, you need to install the 32-bit version of Sunda Doc.

Why the translator cannot not connect to the translation server?
Check that the firewall settings in your computer do not block the translator application's access to the Internet. If you are using Sunda Doc, MS Word must be allowed to access the Internet.

Why I cannot sign in to the Online Store?
You cannot sign in to the Online Store with your translation service user credentials. The shop uses different user accounts. However, you can make purchases without signing in. If you wish to create a user account for the Online Store, please sign up here.
