Sunda Doc installation

Download the installation file:

Installation instructions (MS Word version):

  1. Run SundaDocSetupEng.exe and follow the guided setup program.
  2. When the installation is completed, start MS Word. You should see the Translate button in the MS Word toolbar (see image). If you are using MS Word 2007/2010, the Sunda Doc toolbar appears when you choose Add-Ins from the top menu. If the Sunda Doc toolbar does not appear after the installation, restart your computer.
  3. When the translator is used for the first time, you will be asked to enter your username/password. If Sunda Doc cannot connect to the translation server, please check that your computer's firewall settings do not block MS Word's access to the Internet.
(To remove the application from your computer, select "All Programs->Sunda Doc->Uninstall Sunda Doc" from the Windows Start Menu)

Installation instructions (OpenOffice version):

  1. Run SundaDocOOEng.oxt and follow the guided setup program.
  2. When the installation is completed, restart the OpenOffice.org Writer program. After a successful installation you should see the Sunda Doc toolbar in OpenOffice (see image).

  • Operating system: Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7, Mac, Linux
  • Word processor:
    MS Word 2000/XP/2003/2007/2010, OpenOffice.org 2.1 or later
  • Internet connection
  • If you have a 64-bit version of MS Office, you need to install the 64-bit version of Sunda Doc.
  • OpenOffice version requires that you have Jave Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.5 or later installed. Install Java from http://java.com/getjava
